(May
7, 2012) The
Pat Doar Racing team followed the World of Outlaws Late Model
Series trail to the 311 Motor Speedway in Madison, North Carolina
and the Swainsboro Raceway in Swainsboro, Georgia over the May
4-5 weekend for a pair of $10,000 to win tilts. On Friday night
at 311, Pat Doar grabbed the sixth and final transfer spot through
his heat race and later started the 50-lapper from the outside
of the ninth row. Pat was then able to pick off nine competitors
during the A-Main to score a steady ninth place performance
at 311.
At Swainsboro on Saturday
evening, Pat finished eighth in his heat race and seventh in
his B-Main, but received a series provisional to gain access
into the 'Pine Tree 50.' The New Richmond, Wisconsin native
rolled off from the twenty-third starting spot in the 50-lap
affair and drove his #11 past fourteen cars to record yet another
ninth place effort. By virtue of the top tens over the weekend,
Pat has moved up to ninth in the latest version of the WOOLMS
point standings. Full results can be viewed at www.worldofoutlaws.com.

Finds Nothing But Bad Luck in Nebraska...
(April
9, 2012) The
Pat Doar Racing team ventured to the I-80 Speedway in Greenwood,
Nebraska on Saturday night, April 7 for a Lucas Oil MLRA Series
and DART Corn Belt Clash co-sanctioned tilt. Pat Doar was unfortunately
involved in a heat race wreck that effectively ruined his chances
of advancing into the $3,000 to win feature event. He wound
up eighth in his heat race and fourteenth in the B-Main, which
kept him out of the starting field for the night's main event.
